Sam Hubbard
Coach Sam Hubbard has been coaching softball since 2006, beginning in recreational ball before transitioning to travel softball in 2007. Throughout his coaching career, he has worked with programs including Georgia Scream, Georgia Replay, and Magic. His teams have earned three Top 10 finishes at the USFA World Series, a fourth-place finish in the High School Division, and a Top 3 finish at the USSSA National Championship Tournament. Coach Sam currently serves as an assistant coach at LaGrange Academy, where he has helped the program win two State Championships. Coach Sam is passionate about strengthening each athlete’s knowledge of the game while helping players develop their skills, confidence, and overall softball IQ. He is thankful for the opportunity to continue making a positive impact on young athletes.
Coach Sam Hubbard believes in coaching with a calm, positive, and encouraging approach. He works to build confidence in his athletes by showing them that he believes in their abilities and potential. He understands that every athlete learns differently and strives to meet each player where they are while helping them continue to grow. His philosophy is simple: always work to be better tomorrow than you were yesterday, both in sports and in life.
