West Georgia Nightmare 12U is a competitive development team within Nightmare Fastpitch built for athletes who are ready to take another major step forward in the game. At this level, players are growing in confidence, skill, and softball IQ while beginning to understand what it means to compete with greater consistency, focus, and purpose.
At 12U, the game becomes more demanding. The ball increases in size, the pitching distance moves back, and the pace of play continues to speed up. Many athletes also begin experiencing school ball, which often means competing alongside and against older players. Our focus is on helping players adjust to those changes by strengthening fundamentals, sharpening decision-making, and building the habits needed to compete at a higher level.
Our team culture is built around accountability, preparation, and pride in the work. We want our players to compete hard, support one another, and begin understanding that the path ahead includes more than just the next game. West Georgia Nightmare 12U is about preparing athletes for the transition into higher-level softball, including the early stages of high school competition and the mindset required to start taking future opportunities seriously.
