West Georgia Nightmare 8U is a foundational team within Nightmare Fastpitch, built to introduce young athletes to the game in a competitive, encouraging, and high-energy environment. At this level, the focus is on building confidence, learning the game the right way, and helping each player develop a real love for softball.
At 8U, we are focused on the fundamentals that matter most—throwing, catching, field awareness, effort, teamwork, and learning how to compete with purpose. We want our players to grow in skill, but just as importantly, we want them to grow in confidence, discipline, and understanding of what it means to be part of a team.
Our team culture is built around energy, encouragement, accountability, and fun. We want our players to enjoy the game, support one another, and begin building the habits that will help them succeed as they move up through the organization. Every practice, every game, and every lesson is a chance to grow.
