Coach Caylin
Caylin Jordan
Born and raised in LaGrange, Caylin developed a love for softball at a young age, playing recreationally throughout her childhood before pursuing competitive cheerleading. Her passion for the game has remained throughout the years, leading her back to the softball field through adult co-ed softball and coaching. Caylin brings five seasons of recreational softball coaching experience, including three seasons as an assistant coach and two seasons as head coach. Through her experience, she has developed an organized and intentional approach to coaching, emphasizing preparation, player development, and building a strong team environment. She is especially grateful for the opportunity to coach her daughter, Kinleigh, on the Nightmare 12U team and be part of her softball journey. Caylin looks forward to continuing to grow as a coach while sharing her love for the game with the next generation of athletes.
Caylin believes that successful coaching goes beyond developing softball skills. She emphasizes strong fundamentals, hard work, accountability, and teamwork while creating a positive environment where athletes feel supported and challenged to improve. Her goal is to help each player grow in confidence, develop a competitive mindset, and understand the value of perseverance. Above all, she hopes to make a lasting impact by teaching lessons that extend beyond the field and encouraging every player to reach her full potential.
